Howie Wahlquist
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting One thing's for sure, late in the game you're glad you have him on the field. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Wahlquist always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Wahlquist when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Howie's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Howie Wahlquist is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors.
