Kirk Swihart

Hitting
Swihart was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He's a straight pull hitter whose power extends from the leftfield gap to the line. He struggles away from home.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is slightly above average with a quick release. Swihart doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.
