Mike Serven   Catcher | Calgary Remparts Hitting Serven is an excellent mistake hitter who belts middle-of-the-plate fastballs or hanging breaking balls. Serven always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Left field, right field, center: this guy puts it all over. Baserunning & Defense Serven isn't a fluid catcher, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Serven doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often. 2025 Outlook The Calgary Remparts signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Serven like a hot potato if something better comes along.           -- Ska Nyman, A-Ball Scout
