Beryl Remily
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting The book on Remily is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this kid play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Remily always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Remily when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense When you play Remily you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal.
