Sweetbreads McEwan@   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting McEwan never has been a patient hitter. McEwan always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense McEwan isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. McEwan is a poor defensive catcher. He isn't very mobile or adept at blocking balls in the dirt. His arm is accurate enough. 2024 Outlook One has to wonder what Sweetbreads McEwan is doing in AA.
