Hitting
He thrives late in games. Luderer never has been a patient hitter. Luderer always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Luderer when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense
Luderer has better-than-average speed, and he has made himself into a solid basestealer by developing a quick first step and studying the moves of pitchers. He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough.
2025 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Retired or Inactive Players were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best. Luderer has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Retired or Inactive Players will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
