You can expect Jud Jelsma to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. Baserunning & Defense His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Jelsma doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. 2025 Outlook Jelsma isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors.
