Adam Harless
Starting Pitcher | Ottawa Milk Men
Pitching He's a finesse pitcher, relying on movement and location. He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. Harless's fastball is a tick above average, in the 90-91 MPH range on most nights. Harless also has a decent changeup. His stuff becomes less sharp as he gets into the late innings. The one thing I must say I don't like about Harless is how easily rattled he gets. If he makes a mistake to a hitter and the guy winds up on second or third, you can pretty much count on the guy scoring. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.
Defense & Hitting Harless's quickness helps him get off the mound and field as well as anyone in the league. His move to first isn't very good, but his delivery is fairly quick and he isn't overly vulnerable to the stolen base. Harless is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Harless has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Ottawa Milk Men have been known to use Harless as a pinch-runner on occasion.
2025 Outlook The Ottawa Milk Men signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Harless like a hot potato if something better comes along.
