Ken Gossage   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching Gossage also has a decent changeup. His composure needs work. When Gossage starts getting hit, he gets mad and loses concentration. Never a hard thrower, Gossage now has games when he can't hit 85 MPH with his fastball. He frequently leaves fastballs up in the strike zone, where they get pounded. He changes speeds well enough to keep righthanders from teeing off on him. Defense & Hitting He has a very good move to first base and is solid at controlling the running game. Gossage is nothing special in the field. Gossage is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Gossage has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Gossage as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2024 Outlook Gossage isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors.
