Richard Elliot   Third Baseman | Free Agents Hitting One of the nice things about Richard is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Elliot always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is slightly above average with a quick release. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. 2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Elliot to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.           -- Moostard Nyman
