Hitting
In past seasons, Darley has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He usually does an excellent job of blocking balls in the dirt, though he can occasionally get lazy late in a season. Darley has one of the strongest arms among catchers. No longer much of a threat to steal, he's smart enough to make pitchers pay if they ignore him.

2024 Outlook
In one full big league season, Darley already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
