Andy Cope   Shortstop | Free Agents Hitting Cope never has been a patient hitter. But Andy's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. Cope always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense He might not deliver for you at the plate, but Cope can certainly deliver in the field. He is an exceptional fielder. Cope has one of the strongest arms among shortstops. No longer much of a threat to steal, he's smart enough to make pitchers pay if they ignore him. 2025 Outlook I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract.
