Craig Anderson   Relief Pitcher | Free Agents Pitching He keeps his pitches low in the strike zone and throws a heavy ball. The Free Agents hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Anderson, and that's saying a lot. This man owns lefties. Put it this way, if your lineup is full of them, you might want rethink your lineup. Defense & Hitting Anderson is nothing special in the field. He doesn't hold runners very close, which gives his catcher a bit of a workout. Anderson is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Anderson has some pop in his swing. 2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Anderson to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
