This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Aitken hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Aitken isn't a fluid first baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.

2024 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Aitken to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
